How to find Body for Life Osteopathy

Body for Life Osteopathy is located within Stramongate House, on the second floor. There is a buzzer on the outside of the building for access.

Stramongate House is on Stramongate, Kendal. It is a beautiful Georgian stone building directly between some favourite Kendal landmarks: it's next to the Quaker Tapestry Museum and opposite the Aga Shop!

Directions

If you are arriving on foot from town, walk downhill on Finkle Street or Branthwaite Brow until you meet the junction of Stramongate and Kent Street, where 'Subway' sandwich shop is on the corner. With Subway on your right, continue downhill past the Herdy shop to the road junction. Cross over at the pedestrian crossing and , bearing right after the crossing, continue along Stramongate. When you reach the Aga shop, look to your right across the road and you will see Stramongate House, located between James Brearley & Sons and the Quaker Tapestry Museum. It's about a 5 minute walk from the high street.

If you are arriving by car or by bus, the nearest car parks are Westmorland Shopping Centre or Blackhall Road car park. If using the Westmorland car park, follow the exit for the bus station.  When you are outside, by the bus station, look across the road and you'll see Majestic Wine on the opposite side. Cross the road, walking past Majestic Wine on your left. (If you're used Blackhall Road car park, as you exit the car park with Westmorland Shopping Centre opposite you, look left to see Majestic Wine and walk towards it).  Follow the road round the corner to the left: this is Stramongate. When you reach the Aga Shop, look across the road and you will see Stramongate House, located between James Brearley & Sons and the Quaker Tapestry Museum. It's about a 2 minute walk from the exit of the car park.

If you are arriving by train, exit the train station towards town. Cross over the road at the pedestrian crossing, and with Burrells newsagents on your left and the County Hotel on the right, walk along Stramongate, over the river and continue to the zebra crossing. Cross over the road and head slightly right to continue on Stramongate. You will pass the rainbow gates of the Quaker Tapestry museum on your left and Stramongate House is the next building on the left. It's about a 6 minute walk from the station.
