"Osteopathy. That means you treat bad backs doesn't it?"

Well, yes, I certainly do see a lot of patients with back pain in the clinic, but actually I also treat a lot more that that... including neck pain, shoulder, elbow and wrist problems, hip and groin pain, knee, ankle and foot pain, headaches arising from neck tension, and migraine prevention

I also treat nerve problems, including 'trapped nerve' sensations, sciatica, neuralgia, generalised joint pains and more.

The vast majority of patients respond well to osteopathic treatment from the first appointment but it is common for many patients to have one or two follow-up appointments to help settle to problem completely and stop it recurring.  Chronic issues may take more time, but you should feel you are making continual progress and improvement.

Diagnosis, treatment, home rehabilitation advice and exercise programmes are included at each appointment.  The use of exercise software, 'Physiotec', is also included so that you have a tailored programme of specific exercises that you can access at home and use as much as you need.
